Passport to Unity
Vendor Registration
Six years ago NEW TO THE SAULT, a program of the Sault Community Career Centre, recognized a need to host a celebration/networking session for all newcomers to enjoy, embrace and share in each other’s cultures. With very little money and in support of a relatively new program, the centre was able to gather 300 family and friends to take part in the celebration at White Pines Kiwanis Community Theatre. Friends were made and cultures were embraced! With great reviews the Sault Community Career Centre decided to make Passport to Unity an annual event.
Today, Passport to Unity has matured into a three day festival dedicated to educating the community while bringing cultures together to share authentic history through arts, music, dance and culinary delights. With sold out seats at The Grand Theatre and upwards of 3,000 attending the Essar Centre at last year’s Passport to Unity, its exponential growth is proving the welcoming embrace from community members in Sault Ste. Marie. In order for Passport to Unity to grow, we need the assistance of our local businesses. Without the participation and enthusiasm of our local vendors, this festival would not be possible.
