Job Purpose:
JD Aero is excited to announce the expansion of our facilities and our customer base.

Our growth requires additional support to satisfy the demand of our projects.
We are seeking technicians in the trades listed to assist us with our heavy maintenance lines. We primarily service the Dash 8 Q400, Dash 8 100/300 and CRJ100/200/700/900 aircraft.

We expect applicants to be ready to work in a fast-paced work environment. Our role requires individuals to have excellent communication skills with a team player attitude! Team members agree to work rotating shifts to satisfy demand, including afternoons and weekends.

Aircraft Groomer

 Clean cabin area by vacuuming, dusting, and washing parts of the aircraft using cleaning cloths, special shampooing equipment, standard cleaning compounds, and special chemicals to remove stains.
 Notifies supervisor of any damaged seats or other equipment needing repair.
 Exterior cleaning of the aircraft

 High School diploma or equivalent required.
 Valid driver’s license required.
 Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Stores Clerk

 Responsible for maintaining all parts inventories for the efficient operation and maintenance of aircraft.
 Performs inspection upon receipt of aircraft parts, supplies and equipment from vendors to ensure accuracy.
 Issuing only approved, serviceable parts, tools and materials to personnel.
 Identification, proper tagging and segregation of any material or part that does not meet the standards outlined in Company

 Monitor the supplies necessary to conduct day-to-day business.
 Packages and properly documents parts shipments to be distributed to customers and /or to vendors.
 Other duties as assigned

 High School diploma or equivalent required.
 Computer skills an asset
 Valid driver’s license required.
 Experience handling with parts material or as a coordinator/stock clerk strongly preferred.
 Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
 Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
 Available to do shift work

Stores Department Manager

The Stores Manager is responsible for leading the stores team to maintain proper inventory levels along with the proper receiving, inspecting, shipping, and/or storage of materials used to support JD Aero onsite customers. This is done in accordance with the established company policies and procedures and Transport Canada requirements.
The manager ensures that safety is the top priority of the team in all aspects of the day to day operations.
The manager provides leadership that develops individual team members to excel in their duties. This is done via mentoring and coaching in a manner that fosters trust and open communication throughout the department.

 The successful candidate should have demonstrated skills in the
following: approachability; time and performance management; strong organizational skills; problem solving; communication skills (verbal and written); ability to work with minimal supervision in a team
environment; ability to interact with all levels of company personnel, vendors and onsite customers; professional aptitude; ability to manage multiple projects at one time with time sensitive deadlines and adaptability in an aggressive growth environment.
 High school diploma, College or equivalent required BS/BA preferred.
 Valid driver’s license.
 At least five years of experience with component parts an supervision.
 Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office programs.

AME, Sheet Metal, Avionics, Apprentices

 Education requirements: Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Technology Program
 Preferably some experience on the above noted aircraft types.
 Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
 Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
 Must have excellent mechanical aptitude.
 Must be able to obtain an Airport Restricted Area Pass.
