Achieve your employment goals. The Sault Community Career Centre works with individuals and employers in Sault Ste. Marie and area to help them achieve sustainable employment goals. Our fully equipped resource room empowers job searchers with free printing, faxing and Internet, as well as access to our expert staff of employment consultants and information specialists.

We run many employment skills workshops to help individuals improve interview skills, communications skills, resume and cover letter writing, as well as introductory courses in computers and software applications.

Programs Delivered by the Career Centre

	Employment Ontario Employment Service The goal of the Employment Ontario Employment Service is to help Ontarians find suitable employment. It bridges the gap between employers seeking workplace skills and human resources to meet their business needs and individuals seeking employment. Learn More about ES here.

	New to the Sault The Sault Community Career Centre administers the New to the Sault program which assists newcomers to Sault Ste. Marie and area access helpful resources and information, as well as make connections with other newcomers and members of the community. More Information: http://newtothesault.ca

	Fresh Start Fresh Start is designed to empower individuals through, collaborative identification of personal goals, and the development of strategies to move forward. The program is specifically targeted to people receiving Ontario Works (OW) benefits, and anyone experiencing significant barriers to employment. 	Transition Initiative for Older Workers The Transition Initiative for Older Workers is targeted at workers 55 – 64, and prepares older workers for new and immediate employment and to increase the employability of older workers in communities where there is little likelihood of immediate employment.
